Louth Police Cadets
The Cadets are aged from 14yrs to 19yrs old and are both sexes. They meet every Wednesday evening from 1900hrs to 2100hrs at Louth Police Station Tel 604744.
The Cadets are run by Fran Treanor, Cadet Liason Officer assisted by Ben Ham, Cadet Liaison Officer, Tim Dixon, Cadet Supervisor and Katie Brougham,Cadet Supervisor. The Cadets are uniformed free except for dress shoes. They learn an insight into most policing practices, law, drill and fitness. The purpose of the Corps is to promote confidence, character development, leadership and hopefully a police career. Ther Cadets work very closely with PCSO's and regular officers. They attend an annual camp in Derbyshire, an annual seminar at Police HQ and they have an annual awards evening.
